The name Astamangal comes from the eight sacred symbols integrated right onto the watch face. These signs carry a lot of meaning in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism, acting as gentle reminders of deeper wisdom. For example, the endless knot represents wisdom and compassion working together, while the lotus reminds us to stay pure and free from desire, much like a beautiful flower blooming right out of muddy waters. You also get the victory banner for overcoming life’s hurdles, the wheel of law for spiritual growth, a treasure vase for health and prosperity, a pair of fish for ultimate freedom, a protective parasol, and a conch shell to awaken your mind. It is a piece that carries a lovely story of mindfulness and protection with you everywhere. Instead of sticking to a basic round watch, we went with a striking octagonal shape. The rich blue dial creates a stunning contrast that really makes the detailed sub-dials and sacred symbols stand out. To make sure it can keep up with your everyday life, we built this piece with an ultra-durable sapphire glass face and gave it a strong 10 ATM water resistance. If you glance near the bottom right of the dial, you will see a clean date window tucked seamlessly into the design. The resizable strap easily switches between natural wood and metal links. Each watch comes tucked away in a beautifully crafted wooden box. We also offer customization options if you want to add a personal touch or make it a truly meaningful gift.
